Expect the project to develop, not remain static
Describe phases that may change the number of users, available bathrooms or the working entrance. Review equipment and service against those stages. An extended rental needs an ongoing contact and a way to confirm changes, not simply a delivery followed by indefinite use.
Keep the end date and billing arrangement explicit
Ask how the quoted period is defined and which supplies and visits are included. Request extensions before the agreed end and confirm how collection is arranged. A delayed building handover does not itself tell the rental business that the equipment is still needed.
Keep a current record of the rental arrangement
An extended booking can involve a different crew, property manager or receiving contact from the one who started it. Keep the accepted equipment, visits and end process accessible to the person managing it now. Ask how revised use, added service or an extension is approved rather than assuming the initial arrangement covers every change.
Record a change when it is agreed
- Revised equipment or servicing needs
- The current contact for access and problems
- Updated rental dates and collection instructions
